Reach every LGBTQIA+ and Ally person — across age, race, gender, class, and orientation.
Link each community member with the resources they need to improve their wellbeing, as they see fit.

We tackle the Drivers of Health: the social, economic, and environmental conditions shaping queer lives.
QWELL helps large and small health systems organize into cohorts to pursue LGBTQIA+ certifications. More than 75 clinics and 300+ providers so far.
We use today's tech in new ways to anonymously connect millions of LGBTQIA+ people with resources and each other.
QWELL conducts IRB-approved research in collaboration with Dr. Phillip Schnarrs (Pitt). Our Research Hub will expand data collection for others.
We build mixed-use projects with affordable housing, retail, and community centers at their heart.
It started with one question.
Why — in a country with millions of LGBTQIA+ people — do so many of us still feel alone? QWELL began in December 2015 in Austin, Texas, home to the nation's 3rd largest openly LGBTQIA+ population, per capita, but no LGBTQIA+ community center.
QWELL Founder, Clayton Gibson, drew dozens of organizations and hundreds of community members into conversation to imagine new systems to meet all our needs.
The deeper we listened, the clearer it got: what was needed wasn't more orgs — it was infrastructure. So QWELL started building it, and designed it to travel.
